TUI Germany sees possibility to resume travel this summer
There has been much speculation about when the tourism recovery will begin, once the coronavirus crisis is over. Setting a date is not an easy task, since everything will depend on how the disease evolves.
However, the CEO of TUI Deutschland (German division of the eponymous tourist group), Marek Andryszak, is optimistic, since he estimates that the company will be able to carry out its trips in the summer of 2020.
As Tourexpi has reported , TUI Germany’s forecasts will depend on whether the holiday destinations (mainly Spain, Portugal, Tunisia and Egypt) lift their restrictions in June (which would be the most optimistic scenario) and on whether Germany also allows abroad to your travelers.
“Then we will see how many clients have booked trips there, how far these dates are and how realistic it is for these trips to work,” Andryszak said.
